Who we are

Masterwork Surfaces is a DBA and specialized finish division of Masterwork LLC. Oregon CCB #260671.

Information you choose to send

The inquiry form sends the details you provide to Masterwork Surfaces by email and sends a confirmation to the email address you enter. Inquiry content is not sent to the analytics provider. Information may include your name, contact details, project city or ZIP, dimensions, timing, surface conditions, and the description of your idea. If you reply to the confirmation with photos, those photos are transmitted by your email provider.

How project information is used

Inquiry information is used to respond, evaluate likely project fit, request additional details, prepare a site-review or proposal path, maintain business records, and protect the parties involved. It is not sold as a customer list.

Optional analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” the site uses PostHog to measure page paths, referral source, campaign tags, broad device and browser information, service-page views, project-inquiry actions, scroll-depth milestones, actively visible time on pages and page sections, safe structural labels for clicked links or buttons, and whether the inquiry form was started or completed. This helps distinguish content people pause on from sections they pass quickly. A random browser identifier keeps first- and latest-touch attribution together for up to 180 days. If you later submit an inquiry from that browser, Masterwork Surfaces may privately connect that anonymous journey to the inquiry so the owner can understand what led to the request. The identifying form answers remain in the private lead record and are not sent to PostHog. Masterwork Surfaces does not send PostHog your name, email, phone number, project description, form text, photos, cursor movements, or the text you type. Autocapture, session recording, heatmaps, surveys, person profiles, advertising audiences, and Meta Pixel are disabled.

Google Analytics also receives public page paths, the referring website origin without its path or query string, and a completed-inquiry event after the server confirms success. It does not receive form answers, private inquiry identifiers, our attribution identifier, URL query strings, or fragments. Google Analytics uses first-party browser cookies to measure visits. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. The Google tag is not loaded before consent; automatic page views are disabled to avoid duplicate navigation events. Google may process the network address needed to receive events.

Analytics is off until you allow it. The updated choice asks returning visitors again before adding Google Analytics. You may decline or change the choice at any time with “Analytics choices” in the footer. Global Privacy Control or supported Do Not Track signals keep analytics off. Withdrawing consent disables further Google measurement and clears accessible Google Analytics cookies. PostHog may process the network address needed to receive an event; the PostHog project must be configured to discard IP data.

Inquiry and email history

A submitted inquiry is stored in the private Masterwork Surfaces operating system with its submission identifier, attribution information, consent basis, and lifecycle history. The system records which owner receipt and customer confirmation were prepared, the message subject and template version, the exact plain-text content, and operational delivery events such as accepted, sent, delivered, delayed, bounced, failed, complained, or suppressed. Email-open and email-click tracking are not used. QuickBooks customer creation remains a separate owner-approved accounting action; submitting this form does not automatically create or modify a QuickBooks record.

Website operation

The hosting and network providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security events to deliver and protect the site. No advertising pixel or cross-site advertising audience is configured.

Service providers and legal needs

Information may be handled by providers that support hosting, email delivery—including Resend—project communication, estimating, records, or professional services. Information may also be retained or disclosed when reasonably necessary for contracts, safety, fraud prevention, legal obligations, claims, or enforcement.

Retention and choices

Business communications and project records are retained only as reasonably needed for the inquiry, project, legal, accounting, warranty, insurance, or dispute-resolution purpose. You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of inquiry information, subject to records Masterwork LLC must or reasonably needs to retain.
